Empties #1

I absolutely love finishing up products, probably for two reasons: 1) I feel like I got my money's worth and 2) it means I can start using a new product!  Finishing up a product also allows me to decide whether I would buy the product again or steer clear of it in the future.

Bath & Body Works Fresh Picked Cranberries Hand Cream: This stuff smells so good it actually makes me hungry.  Smell aside, this hand cream does the job and leaves hands feeling soft... if only for a short period of time.  It also leaves a slight residue, a sort of tacky feeling, on the hands that eventually subsides over time.  Repurchase: No

La-Roche Posay Toleraine: Quite possibly the best face moisturizer I have ever used.  It isn't the cheapest of products, but by no means is it the priciest I've tried.  What's great about this product is that it is super simple, fragrance free, and doesn't cause breakouts.  The light texture that sinks in rather quickly and gives lasting hydration is a dream to use. Repurchase: Yes (and already have)

Lather Manuka Body Butter with Grapefruit & Juniper: Lather is a local Southern California brand with a super cute store in Old Town Pasadena.  Awhile back I got a four pack of trial sized body butters and scrubs and this body butter was the last of the four that I used.  The scent is amazing but I needed to use a lot of product to get soft skin because it doesn't really rub into the skin very well. Repurchase: No.

Bliss High Intensity Hand Cream:  On the plus side super rich, super creamy, super hydrating. On the other hand, it takes a long (super, super long) time to rub in and left my hands with a thick film which made me afraid to touch anything for five minutes or so.  Not really practical for using while out and about. Repurchase: No.

While not the best of photos, I finished a few products today before writing this post.

Lush Ponche Shower Gel: Freaking amazing!! This is probably one of the best smelling shower gels I have ever used.  It also happens to be the first I've used from Lush and it did not disappoint.  It was a sad morning when I ran out of this as it is limited edition at Christmas time only.  While not the most hydrating the smell definitely makes up for that. Repurchase: OMG yes!!

Up & Up Acetone Nail Polish Remover: Standard nail polish remover.  If you feel like using a million cotton rounds, tons of nail polish remover and about twenty minutes of your day to take your polish off then this product is for you!  In all seriousness it doesn't take that much time but it isn't the best way to remove nail polish.  Repurchase: No.

Soap & Glory Scrub of Your Life: Another delicious smelling product.  I love a good body scrub and this product is so nice to use.  It foams up nicely, it is gritty but not uncomfortable gritty and a little goes a long way.  Repurchase: Yes.
